To help us sort it out quickly, please include your device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac), your iOS/macOS version, the Simple Register version, and a short description of what happened. Screenshots are welcome. Please don't send passwords, full bank account numbers, or other highly sensitive details — we don't need them.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your device, and — if you turn on iCloud sync — in your own private iCloud account so your registers stay in step across your Apple devices. There's no Simple Register account and no server of ours; we can't see your registers. You can also choose local-only mode to keep everything on the device. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
How much does it cost?
Simple Register is free. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
How do I reconcile a statement?
Open the register, enter your statement's ending balance, and check off each transaction that has cleared. When the difference reaches $0.00 you're reconciled. Simple Register never changes your amounts for you.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Enable iCloud sync and the same register is available everywhere you're signed in to your Apple account.
I deleted a transaction by mistake — can I get it back?
Yes. Deleted transactions stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days, so you can restore them before they're purged.
How do I remove all my data?
Delete the app to remove its local data (on iPhone and iPad). On the Mac, you may also need to remove the app's container. Anything stored in iCloud stays in your iCloud account until you delete it in the app or through your Apple account and iCloud settings.
